You're in luck today because I've got some sweet info on some top-notch wedding venues in Leicestershire! Now, let's start with Mythe Barn - this multi-award winning joint is set in some breathtaking countryside, offering a mix of traditional elegance and modern flair.
They've even converted stables into luxurious en-suite bedrooms, with a honeymoon suite that'll knock your socks off! The place is solely dedicated to weddings, so you know they mean business. And if you're worried about the weather, no sweat - ceremonies can go down either inside or outside under the garden gazebo, or the spectacular Oak Barn which can seat up to 150 guests.
You'll have some killer photos to show off with the oak frame reaching two stories high and full-height windows. When it's time to grub, hit up the outdoor fire pit for a BBQ or the courtyard for some food stalls and the Cart Barn for all your beverage needs.
Next up is the Quorn Country Hotel.
This joint is all about that romantic eclectic country house wedding vibe in the heart of Leicestershire. The 17th century house is set on the banks of the River Soar and offers an oak panelled reception hall with a sweeping staircase and magnificent chandeliers. Catthorpe Manor Estate
Catthorpe Manor Estate has been doing weddings for over 40 years now. They've got 20 new bedrooms, a new restaurant for your wedding breakfasts, and newly refurbished reception rooms and elegant civil ceremony spaces. They're set in 26 acres of mature gardens, with woodland, a fishing lake, formal gardens, and The Banqueting Suite - perfect for larger weddings, Asian weddings and ceremonies, and stunning evening receptions.
Shearsby Bath
Finally, we've got Shearsby Bath. This venue offers up some serious flexibility to make your day suit you perfectly. They've got three settings for your wedding celebrations, including a Bandstand, and can hold civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests. You can choose to get married in the charming Old Spa Room or outside in the new Veil Bandstand. The elegant marquee is perfect for your wedding breakfast with up to 250 seated guests or 350 guests buffet style. The Orangery is another great option for your meal or pre-dinner drinks. And the wedding coordinators will be with you every step of the way to make sure everything runs like clockwork.
Leicester Racecourse
Last but not least, let's talk Leicester Racecourse. If you're looking for a unique venue for your wedding, you've found it. With the capacity to hold up to 650 guests, this place is close to the city with great transport links and hotels, yet still offers a picturesque location for your big day within its own 200 acres. A dedicated wedding planner will be there to tailor a package to your needs, and you even have the option of a self-hire room if you want to create your own unique beautiful day.

The Old Cowshed
Welcome to the quirky Old Cow Shed in Melton Mowbray Leicestershire, it’s a real beaut! The cows have moved on, but they have transformed the shed into a top-notch venue for all your wedding and event needs. We've had some absolutely brilliant couples who have blown us away with their creative visions at this epic venue.
They've got a charming old shed that seats 66 for wine-swilling and dining, and a grand stone courtyard that can seat up to 120. If you're feeling outdoorsy, the paddock is perfect for alfresco dining or civil ceremonies, and they're licensed for both!
And let's not forget about the Big Barn, it's got accommodation for the important ones, including a bridal suite and three other bedrooms. They've also got Carry on Camping shepherd huts named after legends Kenneth Williams, Sid James, and Barbara Windsor.
When you book the Shed, you're getting all the fixings: the Shed (duh), the Courtyard, the Paddock, the Big Barn, loos, Shed Bar and alfresco Rocky's Bar, free parking, and NO corkage on table wine and toasting fizz.

Sutton Bonnington Hall Hotel
Alright, listen up, friends! we’ve got a real gem of a spot for all your shindig needs - the Sutton Bonnington Hall Hotel. This place is a Grade II Queen Anne-style country house smack dab in the middle of Sutton Bonington, right near the border of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. And it's super easy to get to from East Midlands Airport and the M1.
