Vicky and Phil celebrated their beautiful wedding at the intimate and characterful Bilston Brook Barn situated just one mile outside of the historic and stylish cathedral city of Lichfield, Staffordshire and just five miles from Cannock Chase.

It was an honour for Lovely Creatures to photograph the very first wedding held at Bilston Brook Barn, it was a real joy to be able to document this brilliant wedding venue for the first time.
Bilston Brook Barn has Bilston Brook river running nearby, the barn is located in the lush fields of the farm and it possesses lots of incredible scenery, an idyllic site for Vicky and Phil to honour their love for one another.

Vicky and Phil wanted their emotive day to be captured in a purely documentary wedding photography style which was awesome to capture from the surroundings, to all the intricate details like the fabulous décor such as the wonderful balloons, to the barn’s rustic aesthetic and homely festoon lighting.
However, the most soul-stirring parts were the endless opportunities to capture all of the close, emotional moments shared between family and friends and encapsulating the essence of the day and the wholehearted love that filled the atmosphere. The laughter, the happy tears and the endless joy!
The entertainment was awesome, to see everyone on the dance floor and enjoying each special element was spectacular. It was fantastic seeing the hair and make up experts at work, gathering some dynamic action shots of everyone getting ready, and the stunning glowing bride looked radiant in her breathtaking intricate gown.

All the wedding guests spirits were as high as can be on this happy occasion, and even seeing people enjoying the rain was great to document, pure moments that were a pleasure to seize.
