Chloe and Carlos’ gorgeous and classic wedding at Exton Church Rutland and wonderful celebrations at the stylish countryside Oakham Wedding Venue Barnsdale Lodge was a wonderful occasion.
The lovely Chloe and Carlos held their perfect, joyful and soulful wedding in the beautiful and picturesque county of Rutland. It was stunning, intimate, elegant and stylish, filled with love and happiness.
The original plans were to have much larger numnbers but COVID-19 had other plans. Carlos family live in Peru which made travelling impossible so only the permitted 15 people were allowed to attend.

Many of Chloe and Carlos friends and family live all over the world so they made special plans to organise their country Rutland wedding to be streamed live over the internet which gave everyone a chance to be a part of the excitement of the wedding day from their homes and share the emotions, true joy and happiness of the day.

When Ed arrived at the log cabins at the beautiful stylish wedding venue Barnsdale Lodge in Oakham Rutland he was warmly greeted by the family, the hair and makeup was in full flow and the preparations were well underway and the excitement of the day filled the room.

As the laughter and happy energy continued the good weather took a little turn for a donwnpour of epic proportions, however just as Chloe was due to leave for Exton Church, Rutland the sunshine came out as if it was ordered in especially, the timing could not have been better.
Rutland Church Weddings
As Chloe arrived in her Jesus Peiro dress at the pretty and picturesque Exton Church she was met by her grandfather who was to marry Chloe and Carlos and she is the first of nine cousins (who he also christened) who he will have the pleasure of marrying, this made the ceremony so much more magical and special as you could feel the love and energy in the church.

After the ceremony Chloe and Carlos travelled back to the stylish country wedding venue Barnsdale Lodge Oakham, Rutland for a most beautiful meal and heartfelt speeches, they were so genuine and sincere and full of emotions there was not a dry eye in the building. During the drinks and food, there was a live pianist playing which was a perfect vibe that added to the amazing atmosphere.
A Surprise Epic Firework display!
Chloes mum who had also been the wedding planner had arranged some epic fireworks as a surprise and a surprise it certainly was, these fireworks were the level of many large scale bonfire night productions so this was a spectacle to behold.
PARTY, Fireworks and Dancing
There was just enough time for some dancing before the 10pm legal curfew was soon upon us, I think the party could have gone on all night if COVID-19 restrictions were not in place for everyones safety.

Ed and Victoria’s organisation and upbeat attitude were simply wonderful in the lead up to our wedding. With numerous (seriously, DOZENS) of changes to our arrangements due to Covid, Ed and Victoria were supportive, calm and even helped us to understand how our day could work even more seamlessly and how we could optimize our wedding based on their experience… not only the most amazing photographer, but a mini built in wedding planner too!
On the day, Ed turned up early and quietly situated himself in amongst my family, getting more beautiful shots that we could ever have wished for. Throughout the day, Ed mingled and became one of the family very quickly. He laughed and cried with us, all while taking unreal shots of our perfect day.
Our digital photographs came through in record time and perfectly edited. It took an age for us to choose favourites to print, because they honestly were all so perfect.
In short, Ed and Victoria went above and beyond at every step of our wedding journey and using them was the best choice we made. We loved their advice in the run up, Ed’s presence on the day, and the final results – you guys are simply the best, and we can’t wait to see you at every single one of our family events in the future!!
