Pippa and Eric’s Soulful Leicester City Celebrations
We met the lovely Pippa and Eric at the Unconventional Wedding Festival at Stanford Hall in Lutterworth Leicester. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we were set up in a wonderful bohemian festival styled Tipi ready to chat to couples on the day who were looking to get married. We had a chilled vibe in our little area and a rainbow ribbon backdrop with lots of luxury wedding albums on show and it was great to chat to Pippa and Eric about their happy wedding plans.

The fantastic Pippa and Eric booked us shortly after the show and it was a total pleasure to photograph their gorgeous intimate wedding which are now also called beautiful micro weddings.
Ed arrived at the St Mary De Castro Church in Leicester and there wasnt a single soul around, it was quiet, tranquil, which gave Ed the opportunity to capture the beautiful architecture of the church. Ed documented the guests arriving, greeting each other from a distance and walking down the old cobbled street, the area looked beautiful and so characterful and you would never would have guessed that you were in the middle of a city centre.
The ceremony itself was brief (due to covid-19) but so genuine and full of love and happiness, it was such a pleasure to photograph even if there were only 15 people there was enough soul to fill the whole church.

After the ceremony it was onto the stunning and elegant City Rooms in Leicesters City Centre. Pippa and Eric and their children walked through the city and this allowed for some wonderful, natural documentary images to be captured even if it was raining nothing could stop the laughter and smiles.

Although the beautiful and emotive St Mary De Castro Church wedding and The City Rooms Wedding Breakfast was small, intimate and short it did not stop all the love, laughter and happy tears.
