The Magnificent Guildhall Leicester, an idyllic place for Gemma and Tom to say ‘I do’
The uber lovely Gemma and Tom celebrated their love for each other, firstly tying the knot at the bewitching and magnificent Guildhall, Leicester. This remarkable structure is the one of the best preserved timber framed halls in the country, and dating back 600 years, it’s immense history and uncommon architecture was the idyllic place for Gemma and Tom to hold their wonderful ceremony, with a stunning backdrop alongside music that epitomized the couple’s union, it was a pleasure to capture such happiness.

A beautiful boho vibe, lovely lace detail gown and floral crown the bride looked glowing!
The bride and groom looked incredible, with Gemma wearing a lovely lace detail gown, finished with a floral headpiece and Tom in his dashing attire, their look evoked a beautiful boho vibe – and with unconventional alternative details such as Gemma’s awesome converse, it was great to see such fun-loving character. After the ceremony, is was fantastic to capture dynamic confetti shots on the lovely cobbled street.
A Vibrant Wedding Reception at the super cool Manhattan 34 in the heart of Leicester City Centre
They continued their special day with a cool reception at the wonderful Manhattan 34, the perfect venue for this relaxed wedding. With inspiration being a celebration of their relationship and the Leicester city centre, heartfelt, warm and interesting elements evidenced this abundantly. With the surrounding buildings stood on the streets of this vibrant city, it was great to have the contrast of olde-worlde architecture against the contemporary decorative street art that adorned the walls of Leicester, role-playing as the most atypically picturesque setting for this lovely couple’s glorious day.
Sitting amidst the hustle and bustle of this lively city centre is the awesome cocktail bar, Manhattan 34. This venue is styled and inspired by the end of Prohibition in 1934, and their aim is to encapsulate the atmosphere of that time through the bar’s every detail. The Art Deco styling is elegant and unique, matching Gemma and Tom’s excellent taste. Many natural, sincere moments were captured between family and friends and it was great seeing each and every guest having such fun, enjoying the glitter bar and face painting and with lots of exuberant personal touches, the essence of the couple’s character shone through. A wedding filled with individuality, a wholesome, relaxed vibe, and beaming love and happiness. It was truly a pleasure to capture such a beautiful day.
We wish the couple a world of happiness :)

The Power of Storytelling: Why Hiring a natural Documentary Style Photographer is a great option for Your relaxed Wedding
Weddings are one of the most important events in our lives, and they’re filled with meaningful moments and memories that we want to treasure forever. A great way to capture these moments is through hiring a professional photographer, but not just any photographer, a documentary-style photographer. This type of photographer focuses on capturing real, unscripted moments as they happen, allowing you to relive your wedding day in a more natural and authentic way.
Here are some of the benefits of hiring a documentary-style photographer for your wedding:
Natural, Authentic Images: Documentary-style photographers aim to capture the real emotions and moments of your wedding day without staging or posing. The result is a series of natural and authentic images that tell the story of your day in a way that is true to who you are as a couple.
Timeless Memories: Documentary-style photography has a timeless quality to it, which means that the images you receive will be just as beautiful and meaningful years down the line as they are today.
Stress-Free Experience: One of the most significant benefits of hiring a documentary-style photographer is that it takes the pressure off of you and your partner. You don’t have to worry about posing for the camera or trying to look perfect. Instead, you can simply focus on enjoying your wedding day and letting the photographer capture the moments as they unfold.
Personalized Story: Every wedding is unique, and a documentary-style photographer will help to tell your personal story through their images. They’ll capture the small details and moments that are special to you, creating a customized collection of memories that are truly your own.
Candid Moments: Documentary-style photographers are experts at capturing candid moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. These moments can be some of the most meaningful and emotional of the day, and they’ll be captured forever in the images you receive.
Hiring a documentary-style photographer for your wedding is a must if you want to capture the real emotions and moments of your special day. These photographers offer a natural, stress-free experience, timeless memories, and a personalized story that is unique to you and your partner. So, if you want to treasure the memories of your wedding day for years to come, consider hiring a documentary-style photographer today.

Cracking the Code: Understanding Wedding Photography Styles
Wedding photography styles are as diverse as snowflakes - from traditional, staged shots to candid, documentary-style images. It's important to understand the different styles of wedding photography to find a photographer whose style syncs with your own.
Here are some of the most popular wedding photography styles:
1. Traditional - this style features staged shots of the bride, groom, and wedding party.
2. Photojournalistic - this style captures spontaneous moments throughout the day, with minimal direction from the photographer.
3. Fine Art - this style creates artistic and creative images that are often heavily edited.
4. Alternative style - this style creates images that are true to your personality and representation and usually combined with a documentary, honest and authentic approach
5. Luxury - this photography is captured by a multi award winning professional photographer, providing a fantastic customer journey, communication and final product
5. Documentary - *this style is all about capturing the day as it unfolds, with little to no direction from the photographer.
Take a beat to think about the style of wedding photography that resonates with you, and then look for a photographer who specialises in that style.
